The Asian Qualifier of the British Darts Organisation the World Darts Trophy 2018 will take place on May 12th & 13th at The Grandstand, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The playoff will determine the Asian representative at the upcoming World Darts Trophy in England.
Asian countries that are eligible to participate in the Asian Qualifier are countries registered with World Darts Federation. They are:
- Hong Kong
To be eligible to play in this event, the player must be an Asian citizen/Asian passport holder, and not be a PDC tour card holder or a PDPA full member. Entry fee for the Asian Qualifier is RM100.
The prizes for the Asian Qualifier are:
- Winner: One return air ticket from Kuala Lumpur to England courtesy of Malaysian Darts Association and FOCO Malaysia
- Runner-up: RM500
- Joint 3rd: RM200
- Joint 5th: RM100
The World Darts Trophy will be taking place at the Preston Guild Hall, Lancaster Road, Preston, PR1 1HT between Wednesday, May 30th to Sunday, June 3rd. The nearest major airports to Preston are Liverpool and Manchester, which are approximately 30 miles from the venue.
If you fly into Manchester you can get a train direct to Preston, which runs around every 30 minutes. It takes about an hour to get to Preston and costs £22 for a return ticket. The players on this occasion are responsible for their own flights and hotels.

- Winner: £8,000
- Runner-up: £4,000
- Joint 3rd: £2,000
- Joint 5th: £1,000
- Joint 9th: £750
- Joint 16th: £500
- 9 Darter: £2,000
- Highest Out: £1,000
